Kyrgyzstan Launches Digital Platform for Livestock Breeding Records

Kyrgyzstan has introduced a unified automated system to manage livestock breeding farms and artificial insemination centers,

The initiative aims to reduce paperwork and improve efficiency in the country’s livestock sector.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, the new digital platform allows farmers to apply online for official recognition as a breeding farm, facility, or enterprise. Developed in collaboration with the state institution “Agrosmart”, the system is currently operating in a pilot phase.

The platform, titled “Electronic Register of Breeding Entities and Artificial Insemination Points”, provides:

  • transparency in breeding documentation,
  • faster application processing,
  • accurate tracking and data storage.

This digital transition marks a significant step toward modernizing livestock management in Kyrgyzstan and ensuring better oversight of the country’s breeding operations.
