Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to Visit Kazakhstan Officially

President Sadyr Japarov of the Kyrgyz Republic is set to embark on an official visit to Kazakhstan from April 18-19, following an invitation extended by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan.

During this visit, President Japarov will engage in bilateral talks with President Tokayev, focusing on various aspects of mutual interest and the enhancement of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations, as stated by Muratbek Azymbakiyev, head of the foreign policy department of the Kyrgyz Republic’s Presidential Administration.

Key topics on the agenda include discussions on current bilateral cooperation and prospects for future collaboration across multiple sectors.

As part of his itinerary, President Japarov will participate in the Sixth meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, alongside attending the unveiling ceremony of a monument dedicated to the heroic figure of the Kyrgyz epic “Manas” in Astana.

The visit will also coincide with several significant events, including the “Kyrgyzstan – Kazakhstan” business forum, a round table involving elders and creative intelligentsia, a Kyrgyz-Kazakh youth forum, and a forum addressing scientific prospects for solving pressing issues in both Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
