Kazakhstan’s Progress and Democratic Reforms Discussed at Embassy Meeting in Armenia

A recent gathering at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia brought together representatives from various sectors, including experts, journalists, business professionals, and politicians. The round table focused on the modernization of Kazakhstan and featured discussions on the bilateral agenda, TuraNews.kz reports.

During the meeting, Ambassador Bolat Imanbayev provided insights into Kazakhstan’s ongoing political, socio-economic, and democratic reforms, emphasizing measures taken to strengthen human rights. Attendees were briefed on President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev’s recent interview with “Egemen Kazakhstan” and presented with visual materials highlighting key achievements in different sectors for the year 2023.

Armenian experts commended Kazakhstan’s commitment to democratic principles and societal consolidation for shared goals. Tatul Manaseryan, head of the Alternative Analytical Center, praised Kazakhstan’s reforms in regional development and infrastructure, emphasizing solidarity as the key to success.

Stepan Grigoryan, head of the Analytical Center for Globalization and Cooperation, expressed admiration for Kazakhstan’s progress in building a democratic state. He highlighted the President’s efforts to change psychology, eliminate negative traditions, and implement crucial democratic reforms. Grigoryan also commended the national kurultai as a valuable platform preserving ancient traditions.

The event included the screening of the documentary film “Kantar. Attempted Coup. How it was?” and concluded with a lively discussion on mutual interests in the bilateral agenda.
