Kazakhstan’s Cultural Days to Be Held in Armenia

On April 18–19, Kazakhstan will host its Cultural Days in Yerevan, Armenia, marking a major step in strengthening cultural and informational cooperation between the two countries.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, the event will feature a lineup of film screenings and a gala concert. The program begins on April 18 at the “Moscow” Cinema with the historical film Kazakh Khanate: Golden Throne by Rustem Abdrashov, followed by Farhat Sharipov’s Night Stop.

On April 19, two more films — Time of Patriots by Serikbol Utepbergenov and Burkit by D. Ibragimov — will be screened.

The highlight of the cultural days will be the Gala Concert on April 19 at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. The concert will feature top Kazakh performers, including People’s Artist Roza Rymbayeva, along with winners of the “Daryn” youth award. The event will be attended by Kazakh Minister of Culture Aida Balayeva, Armenian Minister of Culture Zhanna Andreasyan, and members of the diplomatic, cultural, and academic communities.

A reciprocal Armenian Cultural Days in Kazakhstan were held in Astana in October 2024.
