Capital airport code NQZ will not be changed

The press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development reported that the capital airport code will not change at the moment.

“The capital airport code NQZ will remain as it is. The question of renaming is not on the agenda for the moment”, the press service of the ministry said.

Earlier it was reported that the deputies of the Parliament adopted constitutional amendments. Within the draft law, there three issuses were considered:

1. the provisions on one presidential term of 7 years without the right of subsequent re-election,
2. an increase in the terms of office of judges of the Constitutional Court to 8 years with the establishment of restrictions on being re-appointed judges of the Constitutional Court,
3. renaming the capital of Kazakhstan.
