Kazakhstan-Türkiye Bilateral Cooperation Discussed in Ankara Meeting

Заместитель министра иностранных дел Казахстана Алибек Бакаев в ходе рабочей поездки в Турцию в рамках 13-го заседания казахско-турецкой межправительственной экономической комиссии встретился с Заместителем министра иностранных дел Турции Бураком Акчапаром.

During a productive visit to Türkiye for the 13th meeting of the Kazakh-Turkish intergovernmental economic commission, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Alibek Bakaev, held talks with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, Burak Akçapar.

The discussions centered on current issues and plans for the ongoing year, with both sides exchanging perspectives on broadening multilateral cooperation.

The Turkish official commended the strong bilateral strategic partnership and emphasized the crucial role of friendly relations in advancing multilateral cooperation.

In turn, A. Bakaev highlighted the dynamic development across political, economic, social, and cultural spheres between the two nations, along with Kazakhstan’s priorities during its chairmanship in the Organization of Turkic States.

Concluding the meeting, representatives from both Ministries of Foreign Affairs expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the Intergovernmental Economic Commission. They affirmed their commitment to further elevate bilateral relations, synchronizing efforts through meetings such as the 8th Joint Strategic Planning Group at the ministerial level and the forthcoming 5th High-level Strategic Cooperation Council, chaired by heads of state.
