Astana is set to host the Asian Youth Boxing Championship (U-22) from April 25 to May 8, as reported by the KSE press service. Approximately 500 young athletes from 25 Asian countries will participate in this continental championship.

The competition will feature two age categories: U-22 (born 2002-2005) and Youth (born 2006-2007). Fighters will compete in various weight divisions, ranging from 46-48 kg to +92 kg for men and from 45-48 kg to +81 kg for women.
