Kazakhstan plans to extend the ban on the export of scrap, non-ferrous and ferrous metals

Export of non-ferrous metal to foreign countries by transport and sea routes may be prohibited in Kazakhstan, Turanews.kz reports citing the “Ashik” NKA portal.

“The export of copper, aluminum, lead waste and scraps, waste of failed lead batteries, chemically sorted and unsorted non-ferrous metals containing lead, cadmium or mercury from the territory of Kazakhstan by all types of automobile and sea transport is prohibited for a period of 6 months,” the order says. .

Supervision of these restrictive measures is entrusted to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, the State Revenue Committee and the Border Service of the National Security Committee.
