Kazakhstan Marks Inaugural Civil Aviation Workers Day on February 1

Kazakhstan is commemorating a new milestone as it observes Civil Aviation Workers Day for the first time

This newly established professional holiday was officially approved in November of the previous year and is being celebrated nationwide today, February 1.

The initiative to create this new holiday was put forth by the joint council of war and labor veterans of civil aviation in Kazakhstan. The Civil Aviation Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, played a crucial role in the realization and definition of this holiday.

Highlighting the significance of this new celebration, the committee stated that the establishment of Civil Aviation Workers Day aims to bring special recognition to the contributions made in the field of civil aviation. Additionally, it is expected to serve as a source of inspiration, fostering a sense of patriotism among the emerging generation of aviators in the country.

The introduction of professional holidays, as outlined in the law “On Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” reflects the nation’s commitment to honoring and acknowledging various sectors and professions.
