Kazakhstan Expands Education Cooperation with Turkish Region of Sakarya
During the visit of Nuriddin Amankul, Consul General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul, to Sakarya, a prominent student city in Türkiye, discussions on enhancing educational cooperation between the two nations took center stage.
In meetings with Sakarya Governor Yaşar Karadeniz and the rectors of Sakarya University and Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, the Turkish counterparts lauded the educational standards of Kazakh students studying in the region. They emphasized the comprehensive representation of Kazakh culture and traditions by the younger generation.
In response, Consul General Nuriddin Amankul highlighted recent reforms undertaken by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the political, economic, and social domains, expressing a keen interest in bolstering collaboration with Sakarya in investment, cultural, and various other sectors.
Discussions with Kazakh students delved into challenges encountered during their education in Türkiye, alongside the introduction of the studentabroad.kz platform. This platform includes a mandatory internship project for 3-4 year students, developed jointly by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Türkiye and Consulates General in Istanbul and Antalya.
