Kazakhstan has attracted 35 foreign companies as part of its efforts to attract investment, the government said on Telegram.
The companies are from a variety of industries, including manufacturing, technology, and finance. They have pledged to invest a total of $28 billion in Kazakhstan.
The government said the investments are a sign of confidence in Kazakhstan’s economy and its commitment to attracting foreign investment.
Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov said that the government is implementing a number of measures to attract investment, including tax breaks and grants.
“We are creating a favorable investment climate for foreign companies and we are confident that Kazakhstan will continue to be a attractive destination for investment.”, he said.
The government also said that it is introducing new measures to attract investment in the oil and gas sector. These measures include fiscal incentives for companies that sign improved model contracts.
