Kazakhstan and Тürkiye to start a joint exploration project for searching gold deposits

Tau-Ken Samruk National Mining Company and Turkish D Mineral start a joint exploraiton project of gold deposits. The Companies plan to create a joint venture, Turanews.kz reports citing the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 11 in Astana, The agreement on the main terms of the transaction was signed by the head of Tau-Ken Samruk Bakyt Chirchikbaev and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of D Mineral Ilhan Poyraz.

The Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Iran Sharhan has also attended to the meeting.

The parties will cooperate in searching and studying in promising areas for which they plan to obtain licenses for geological exploration and create a joint venture in the future.

The main focus of the Joint enterprise will be on searching for gold deposits.

Financing of exploration work is undertaken by the Turkish side.

Turkish D Mineral is a subsidiary of Dimer Group Companies, a mining and development corporation. The company specializes in iron ore and copper mining.
