
Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan met with the delegation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to discuss strategic cooperation in sustainable development.
OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev emphasized the need for member states to align their climate agendas and optimize energy resource usage. Kazakhstan presented its roadmap for creating the Council of Excellence in Energy Efficiency, an initiative originally proposed by President Tokayev at the Gabala Summit.
The council is envisioned as a stable platform for coordinating policies, exchanging best practices, and launching joint industrial projects. Officials highlighted that the focus is shifting toward practical interaction between OTS member states to ensure a green transition in the industrial sector. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering long-term partnerships aimed at sustainable growth and energy innovation within the Turkic world.
