Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan: Leaders of Regional Integration, Says Ambassador Alim Bayel
During the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Agricultural Forum, Alim Bayel, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, highlighted the strong partnership between the two nations, describing them as "locomotives of regional integration."
“Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are strategic partners, cooperating in all areas, including transport, logistics, investment, and defense,” stated Ambassador Bayel. He noted that Azerbaijan recently sent the largest military contingent to joint exercises in Kazakhstan, after the host country. “Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are undertaking major projects that are significant not only for us but also for the region,” he emphasized.
The ambassador also mentioned plans for Kazakhstan to export “green” energy through Azerbaijan. “It is symbolic that Baku is hosting the COP29 climate conference this fall,” he added.
The Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Agricultural Forum is taking place today at the Kazakh Embassy in Baku.
