Kazakh man swam across the Strait of Gibraltar, which connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Mediterranean Sea, wearing no wetsuit.
Kural Zholaman, who is a resident of Aktau, participated in the cross-continental swim during which he swam almost 17 kilometers from the Spanish municipality of Tarifa to the coast of Morocco within five hours and 58 minutes. It bears noting that Zholaman prepared himself for this swim by training in the Caspian Sea.
