Humanitarian Aid from Kyrgyzstan Arrives in Flooded Regions of Kazakhstan

The neighboring state swiftly responded to the crisis, extending a helping hand to the flood-stricken areas.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, acting on behalf of President Sadyr Japarov, dispatched humanitarian aid to the flood-affected regions of Kazakhstan. A convoy comprising 15 trucks laden with 300 tons of essential supplies commenced its journey from Kyrgyzstan on April 6.

Today, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan confirmed the arrival of the first segment of the humanitarian convoy. Aktobe region was the initial recipient, with aid reaching Khromtau last night before proceeding to Kostanay.

“The remaining trucks are en route to Atyrau and West Kazakhstan regions. Accompanying this humanitarian endeavor is Urmatbek Shamyrkanov, the Vice Minister for Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic,” stated the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It is noteworthy that Kazakhstan also received offers of assistance from Turkey in tackling the flood crisis.
