Aykhan Hajizade, the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan, has leveled accusations against France, asserting that the country is contributing to the militarization of Armenia, thereby posing a threat to the normalization of relations in the region, TuraNews.kz reports.
According to Hajizade, the provision of this military equipment to Armenia is anticipated to enhance the military capabilities and disruptive activities of the country. He emphasized that France’s actions are impeding efforts to normalize the situation in the region and underscore the questionable nature of Paris’ interests.
Hajizade urged both Armenia and France to cease their policy of militarization. He emphasized the imperative for a collective understanding that there is no viable alternative to pursuing peace and fostering cooperation in the region.
This development follows an earlier statement by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, asserting that the republic has no intention of engaging in a new war with Armenia, as Baku has already accomplished its objectives.
