A direct regular flight between the capitals of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan was inaugurated on April 2, 2024.
The official unveiling of the flight’s commencement saw the participation of Saltanat Tompieva, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Civil Aviation Committee.
Operated by Somon Air, flights from Astana to Dushanbe will occur twice a week, specifically on Tuesdays and Fridays, utilizing a B-737 aircraft.
The introduction of this air route is poised to bolster trade, economic, business, investment, and tourism collaboration between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, fostering further bilateral ties and opportunities for mutual growth.
