Explosion at a military warehouse near the border with Kazakhstan

16 people were injured in the explosion at a warehouse of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan near the border with Kazakhstan.

According to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, at 05:01 local time, the emergency department received a message about an explosion in the village of Malik in the Syrdarya region.

“After that, 12 out of 16 patients injured as a result of this incident were taken to the medical association of the Syrdarya region. First aid was immediately provided to all the injured.

Four victims were placed under inpatient observation in the Syrdarya branch of the Republican Emergency Medical Center. It is noted that among the victims there are no seriously wounded and patients in critical condition.t

The incident occurred on October 22 at 4:55 a.m. at the warehouse of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan in the village of Malik (only a few tens of kilometers from the border with Kazakhstan – ed.). For the time Boeing, the ministry did not specify what was stored in this warehouse or what caused the explosion neither.
