
A minor earthquake has been recorded in the Caspian Sea, according to Azerbaijan’s seismological authorities.
The tremor occurred on April 12 at 22:46 local time. The epicenter was located at a depth of 18 kilometers beneath the seabed.
The quake, felt near Lankaran, measured 3.0 on the Richter scale, indicating a low-intensity seismic event.
Earlier, Kazakhstan’s National Data Center also reported an earthquake detected on the territory of China.
