Deputies of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan proposed to block TikTok

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh (Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan) , deputy Shailoobek Atazov noted that the TikTok application negatively affects youth and national ideology, Turanews.kz reports.

“It is necessary to give instructions to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan so that they carry out work in this direction.

It’s not proper thing for people watch TikTok with their families. The state must have a national policy. It is necessary that we pay attention to this issue ” the deputy said.

Agreeing with the words of his deputy colleague Deputy Talaibek Masabirov, “Today, My colleague pointed out a reasonable issue about TikTok. The Ministry of Culture should take this issue under consideration. We need to redirect young people’s energy to other positive fields such as sports, art and etc. I am afraid for the children of Kyrgyz republic. We should be careful about the contents they are watching on their smart phones. We must revive the ideology and the culture in the country. ” the deputy said.
