Days of the Republic of Saha to be Celebrated in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is set to host the Days of the Republic of Saha, as reported by Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balayeva.

A meeting was held between Minister Balayeva and Minister of Culture and Spiritual Development of the Republic of Sakha, Afanasy Noev, to discuss various aspects of cooperation aimed at strengthening cultural ties between the two nations.

The discussions primarily focused on the upcoming events scheduled to take place during the Days of the Republic of Sakha in Kazakhstan, slated for April 2024. The event is expected to be held in both Astana and Almaty.

Starting from April 17, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to explore the unique cultural heritage of Yakutia at the “Treasure of Yakutia” exhibition.

Additionally, special performances are scheduled to take place during the event. The State National Kazakh Music and Drama Theater, named after Kalibek Kuanyshbaeva, will host a concert featuring the violinist ensemble “Virtuozy Yakutii” and the opera Olonho “Nurgun Bootur”. Meanwhile, the Russian Drama Theater, named after Maxim Gorky, will present the performance Olonho “Winter Debiliye”.

Furthermore, concerts and performances are also planned to be held in the state theaters of Almaty, offering audiences a diverse cultural experience.
