Daniyar Kadirov, born in 1975 in Almaty, is a distinguished individual with a diverse professional background. He is an alumnus of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Kadirov commenced his career journey in 1999 as a leading specialist in the Department of Mass Media at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over the years, he held various significant positions within the ministry’s structure until 2004.
His career trajectory saw him serve as the head of the Department of Youth Policy at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, he assumed the role of deputy akim of Stepnogorsk in local executive bodies.
Kadirov transitioned to the diplomatic sphere in 2007, taking on roles such as head of the sector at the Department of State Control and Organizational Work of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He later served as minister-counselor at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Mongolia and held a similar position at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan from 2013 to 2015.
Between 2015 and 2019, Kadirov served as the executive director of the Association of Television and Radio Broadcasting Operators of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He subsequently held key governmental positions, including Deputy Head of the Department for Control over the Consideration of Appeals at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2019 to 2022 and Vice Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2022 to 2023.
Before assuming his current role as president of the Otandastar Foundation NJSC, Kadirov served as Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan from November 2023 to March 2024. His extensive experience and leadership qualities position him well for his new responsibilities at the Otandastar Foundation.
