The festival brings together dance groups from across the Turkic world to preserve and celebrate traditional dance heritage.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mangystau Region Deputy Governor Tilegen Abishev, Aktau Mayor Abylkair Baipakov, and TÜRKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, who highlighted the festival’s role in strengthening cultural ties.
Kazakhstan’s first multiethnic song and dance ensemble “Birlik” performed the iconic “Kara Jorga,” captivating the audience. The two-day event features nine dance troupes.
