Baku Hosts Presentation of Book on Turkic National Musical Instruments

On March 5, the Nizami Ganjavi National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature in Baku hosted the presentation of the “National Musical Instruments of Turkic-speaking Countries” book, published by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in collaboration with the Baku Music Academy.

The event gathered diplomats, parliament members, cultural figures, and media representatives.

The book is the result of joint efforts by scholars and musicians from six Turkic countries, providing detailed information on over 100 traditional musical instruments, supported by scientific sources. The publication serves as a valuable resource for musicologists, folklorists, and organologists.
