Astana to Host Open Championship for Girls in Equestrian Sports

The capital city of Astana is set to witness a thrilling display of equestrian prowess as riders from various corners of Kazakhstan converge at the Argymak equestrian sports complex on March 8.

The event, organized by the Akimat (regional executive body) of the city of Astana and dedicated to International Women’s Day, will showcase the Open Championship among girls in equestrian sports. This championship will encompass six distinct categories based on height and difficulty.

  • “Open class category”
  • “Youth category”
  • “Amateur category”
  • “Category of young horses 4 years old”
  • “Category of young horses 5 years old”
  • “Category of young horses 6 years old”

With a total prize pool of 6 million tenge, competitors will vie for top honors in their respective categories.

The championship has garnered the support of the city’s akimat and is organized under the auspices of the Federation of National and Olympic Equestrian Sports of Astana.

Action-packed competitions are slated to kick off at 10:00 AM at the Argymak equestrian sports complex, conveniently located on Karkaraly highway, 1, accessible via suburban routes No. 303, 309, 320, and 323.
