74th International Astronautical Congress kicks off in Baku, Azerbaijan

The 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) kicked off today in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. The congress is a major event in the global space industry, and it is expected to attract over 5,000 participants from more than 100 countries, TuraNews.kz reports.

The IAC was officially opened by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. The event is being organized in partnership with the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) and the International Astronautical Federation (IAF).

The IAC will feature a variety of events, including conferences, technical sessions, and exhibitions. The conferences will cover a wide range of topics related to space exploration, including space science, technology, and applications. The technical sessions will provide a forum for scientists and engineers to present their latest research and findings. The exhibitions will showcase the latest products and services from companies in the global space industry.

Some of the major companies that are participating in the IAC include NASA, JAXA, ASI, Airbus, and ISRO. These companies will be showcasing their latest technologies and innovations in space exploration.

The IAC will run until October 6, 2023.
