Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Russia route being developed to develop trade

For the development of trade, the route Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Russia is being worked out, the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

In order to optimize an additional route for the development of trade in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the freight companies of the republic, are developing a route in the following direction:

– Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Russia along the Caspian Sea from the Turkmenbashi port to the Astrakhan port.

In order to organize regular sea transportation lines between the port of Turkmenbashi and Russian ports on the Caspian Sea on January 16-17, 2023 in the city of Astrakhan, the Russian Federation, quadripartite negotiations are being held with representatives of the authorized bodies and businesses of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

As part of the negotiations, the members of the delegation will get acquainted with the activities of the several ports of the Astrakhan region.
