On May 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Republic of Kazakhstan for a working visit at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The Azerbaijani leader is visiting the country to participate in the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
An honor guard was formed at the Hazrat Sultan International Airport in Turkestan to welcome the President of Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani President was greeted at the airport by the State Councilor of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan Karin, the Akim of the Turkestan Region Nuralkhan Kusherov, and other official figures.
