By Presidential Decree, Nurlybek Nalibayev has been appointed First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He has been officially relieved of his previous role as the Akim (Governor) of the Kyzylorda region, a position he had held since April 2022.
Born in 1976, Nalibayev brings a wealth of administrative expertise to the central government. Having served as the Mayor of Kyzylorda and worked within the Prime Minister’s Office as Head of Regional Development, his appointment marks a strategic move to bridge the gap between regional needs and national policy. As First Deputy Prime Minister, Nalibayev is expected to oversee key economic reforms and regional integration strategies.
