Kazakhstan Ratifies Allied Relations Treaty with Tajikistan, Elevating Strategic Ties

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Ratification of the Treaty on Allied Relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan.”

According to the Akorda press service, this ratification officially upgrades the bilateral partnership to a formal alliance.

The treaty focuses on strengthening mutual support, territorial integrity, and regional security. It outlines a broad framework for cooperation in political, military-technical, and economic spheres.
