Astana Eurasian Book Fair 2026 to Gather Global Publishers and Authors in the Kazakh Capital

From April 22 to 26, the Presidential Center in Astana will host the IX International Book Fair, “Astana Eurasian Book Fair-2026.”

The major cultural event will bring together nearly 80 publishing houses from 14 countries, including the UK, Spain, China, Türkiye, and Portugal. For five days, the capital will turn into a literary hub featuring book launches, autograph sessions, and creative workshops for children.

Highlights of the fair include presentations of local and international hits, such as Andrzej Sapkowski’s “The Witcher,” historical novels about Batu Khan, and a dedicated book on global superstar Dimash Kudaibergen.

A key moment of the fair will occur on April 23, designated as National Book Day, featuring the “Ulttyq Kitap” publishing awards.

Entry is free for all visitors, making it a perfect cultural outing for expats and tourists in Astana.
