The state-owned enterprise “Uzavtomotobelgi” has been authorized to issue these plates through open electronic auctions, UzA reports.
According to the government decree, the personalized plates must not duplicate existing license numbers and cannot include words or phrases that contradict legal or moral standards.
This means that in the near future, Uzbek streets could see cars with plates such as “SARVAR,” “AZIZA,” “ODIL,” or even “BUKHARA.”
