Uzbek President to Visit Azerbaijan
Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Azerbaijan on July 2 at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev, according to the Uzbek national news agency “UzA”.
During the visit, the second session of the High-Level Intergovernmental Council will be held in Baku, alongside other high-level meetings. Discussions will focus on strengthening the friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
Mirziyoyev is also expected to attend the upcoming summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), to be held in the city of Khankendi.
