President Meets Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

President Tokayev emphasized the importance of the mutual presidential visits from last year, which greatly boosted Kazakh-Armenian relations.

“Your first official visit to Astana is significant for advancing our partnership. We hold the Armenian people and your country in high regard,” said Tokayev.

The President also welcomed the completion of negotiations on the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, calling it a step toward lasting peace and strengthened security in the region.

Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted the shared vision for strategic partnership between the two countries. He added that both sides are working to implement agreements made during Tokayev’s visit to Yerevan last year.

President Tokayev and  Mirzoyan discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, transportation, and cultural exchanges, with President noting Kazakhstan’s readiness to increase exports to Armenia by $350 million.
