Baku and Yerevan Conclude Negotiations on Peace Agreement

Azerbaijan and Armenia have finalized negotiations on the peace agreement text, with Yerevan accepting the last two previously unresolved clauses proposed by Baku.

“The negotiation process on the peace agreement text between Azerbaijan and Armenia has been completed. Armenia has informed us of its acceptance of the final two provisions. Work on the text is now fully concluded,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated in a press briefing.

Bayramov emphasized that Baku is now waiting for constitutional amendments in Armenia to reflect recognition of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry confirmed the completion of negotiations, stating that the agreement is ready for signing. Yerevan is prepared to consult with Baku on the date and location of the signing.

Earlier, both sides had reported significant progress in drafting the agreement.
