Turkmenistan Among Top 10 Countries with Lowest Diesel Prices
As of September 30, 2024, Turkmenistan ranks among the top ten countries with the most affordable diesel fuel prices.
According to data from the Global Petrol Prices portal, diesel in Turkmenistan is priced at $0.0286 per liter, placing it seventh on the list of countries with the lowest fuel costs.
Venezuela leads the ranking with the lowest price, at $0.004 per liter. Other countries in the top ten include Iran, Libya, Angola, Algeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Ecuador.
In contrast, some of the highest diesel prices are found in countries such as Singapore, Israel, Finland, Switzerland, and Hong Kong. Hong Kong tops the list with a price of $3.145 per liter.
Globally, the average price of diesel is $1.21 per liter as of late September 2024. These price variations are largely influenced by national tax policies and fuel subsidies.
