The III Eurasian Economic Forum Kicks Off in Yerevan

The III Eurasian Economic Forum began yesterday in Yerevan, focusing on the theme "10 Years of the EAEU: Prospects and Priorities." This event is held alongside the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, attended by heads of government from EAEU member states, observer countries, and marks the 10th anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union's founding treaty.

Key topics for discussion at the forum include current areas of economic cooperation within the EAEU, technological partnerships, digitalization, the development of transport infrastructure, and support for entrepreneurship. The forum will also address international cooperation and strategic development of the Union as a whole.

Participants will cover issues such as improving the quality of the domestic market, logistics development, antitrust regulation, e-commerce, tourism, and industrial cooperation. A significant portion of the forum will be dedicated to discussions between the EAEU and Iran, with events involving representatives from the business community, the public sector, and industrial and logistics companies from both regions.

Several key sessions are planned, including a business dialogue between the EAEU and Iran, round tables focused on trade promotion and investment, industrial sector cooperation, and agricultural sector development within both regions.
