Türkiye’s Men’s Classic Archery Team Advances to Paris 2024 Semifinals
On the third day of the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Turkish men's classic archery team secured a spot in the semifinals after a decisive victory over India.
The Turkish team, comprising Mete Gazoz, Ulaş Berkim Tumer, and Muhammed Abdullah Yıldırmış, faced off against the Indian squad, which included Tarundep Rai, Ramesh Pravin Jadhav, and Dhiraj Bommadewara, at the Les Invalides venue.
Türkiye won the first set 57-53, followed by a 55-52 win in the second set. Despite a narrow 54-55 loss in the third set, the Turkish team bounced back with a 57-54 victory in the fourth set. With a total score of 6-2, Türkiye advanced to the semifinals.
In their next match on Monday, Türkiye will compete against the winner of the Italy-France match.
