In honor of the distinguished guest, a guard of honor was assembled at the airport. To symbolize the deep friendship between the peoples of Kazakhstan and China, children greeted President Xi Jinping and his official delegation with flags of both countries and a song in Chinese.
The visit includes high-level bilateral negotiations and the signing of several important documents.
Xi Jinping’s visit, at the invitation of President Tokayev, will continue until July 4. During his stay, Xi Jinping will also attend the 24th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
