Deadly accident at ArcelorMittal Temirtau
Tonight there was an accident at the mine named after Lenin in the city of Shakhtinsk, Karaganda region. As a result, 4 miners died in accident, KazInform reports.
On November 3, at 3:03 a.m., an accident occurred at the mine named after Lenin of the Coal Department of Arcelor Mittal Temirtau JSC.
“At the time of the incident, there were 106 workers in the mine, 101 people climbed to the surface. 5 people (workers of the column section) remained for the work of the lifting nets,” said the administration.
Currently, the bodies of 4 workers of the mine were found, 4 people were brought to the surface and admitted to the Central District Hospital of Shakhtinsk.
The governor of the region, the head of the city and company leaders, the emergency rescue service of the “Komir” fire and rescue service are working at the scene of the accident.
