Armenia and Azerbaijan to Hold Talks in Kazakhstan on May 10
Negotiations between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, and Azerbaijan's Jeyhun Bayramov are set to take place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on May 10, announced Aibek Smadiyarov, the official representative of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Smadiyarov confirmed the upcoming talks during a briefing in Astana, stating, “In accordance with the agreements reached, negotiations between the heads of the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Armenia will take place in Almaty on May 10.”
Earlier, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his support for hosting the meeting between the foreign ministers of the two countries in Almaty. He believes that such a gathering will contribute significantly to the swift establishment of enduring peace in the South Caucasus region.
