Sadyr Japarov to Visit Russia on Working Trip

Kyrgyzstan's President, Sadyr Japarov, has been invited by Russian President Vladimir Putin for a working visit to the Russian Federation scheduled for February 20-21,

This was announced by Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration of Kyrgyzstan.

Japarov’s itinerary includes participation in the official opening ceremony of the International Multisport Tournament “Games of the Future” in Kazan.

The event will encompass various physical and computer sports competitions involving over 260 teams and approximately 2,000 athletes and cyber athletes from diverse countries, competing in 21 innovative disciplines. The attendance of several foreign heads of state, prominent international figures, public figures, and heads of major IT companies is anticipated.

The visit will also feature bilateral meetings between Sadyr Japarov, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Tatarstan’s head, Rustam Minnikhanov, focusing on current issues in Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation. Discussions will encompass trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and investment matters.
