Erdogan called Kazakhstan “the land of our ancestors”.

“Ata topraklarımızda…”(In the land of the ancestors), wrote the head of Turkey on his Instagram page, describing the photo taken in the capital of Kazakhstan.

The President of Turkey arrived in Astana on Wednesday, October 12 at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. On the same day, Erdogan took part in a bilateral meeting with Tokayev, as well as at a meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Kazakhstan and Turkey.

Today both leaders will participate to summit of CICA which takes a place in Astana.
