Aktoty Raimkulova has been appointed as the new President of the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage, TuraNews.kz reports.
Expressing gratitude to her predecessor, Gunay Efendieva, for her significant contributions to the development of Turkic culture and heritage, President Raimkulova acknowledged the achievements made during Efendieva’s tenure.
In her parting words, Gunay Efendiyeva extended best wishes to Aktota Raimkulova, expressing confidence in her ability to successfully continue the organization’s initiatives. She also conveyed gratitude to the dedicated employees who collaborated with passion and dedication during her leadership.
President Raimkulova affirmed the organization’s commitment to actively pursue ongoing and upcoming projects. The primary focus will be on deepening the shared ethnic, cultural, and historical bonds within the Turkic world.
Established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, with the support of the heads of state from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey, the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage was founded on August 23, 2012, with the adoption of its charter at the Turkic Council summit in Bishkek.
