The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced that it has submitted a bid to host the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League finals in 2026 and 2027, Turanews.kz reports.
The TFF has proposed hosting the finals at the stadiums of Istanbul’s Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray clubs.
UEFA will announce the host cities for the finals in May 2024.
Other countries that have submitted bids to host the finals include Hungary, Italy, Germany, Norway, Scotland, Israel and Switzerland.
The Europa League is the second-tier club competition in Europe, while the Conference League is the third-tier competition.
The finals of both competitions are currently held at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.
