Kyrgyzstan plans to plant 90 mln seedlings by 2030
About 90 million seedlings are planned to be planted in Kyrgyzstan by 2030, Turanews.kz reports.
At the meeting of the Yiman Nuru parliamentary faction of the Jogorku Kenesh, Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision Dinara Kutmanova shared the plans about the plantation to be in the country until 2030 year.
According to the Minister, the works are currently underway to implement the national program “Jashyl Muras” in the country, as well as the program “Green Kyrgyzstan”.
“In general, by 2030 it is planned to plant about 90 million seedlings. Taking into account the survival rate, this figure is about 70 million trees,” Kutmanova said.
She noted that 8 million seedlings were planted in 2022, 8.5 million seedlings are planned to be planted in 2023, 9 million in 2024, and 9.5 million in 2025.
