Kazakhstan is one of the leaders in supply of the petroleum products to Türkiye

The Kazakhstan remains among top the exporters of oil and oil products to Türkiye, Turanews.kz reports citing Inform.kz.

While Russia is still the main exporter of petroleum products to Türkiye over the past year with supplies of 2 million 516 thousand tons, Iraq takes second place with 500,908 tons and Kazakhstan is 3rd place with 266 thousand 713 tons.

According to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority, the total volume of imports of oil and oil products into the country in November 2022 as a whole decreased to 3 million 967 thousand 559 tons which is 7.4% less Compared to 2021 year.

The purchase of crude oil that constitutes the largest item in Türkiye’s total import volume, it decreased to 2 million 633 thousand 417 tons which is 11.6% less.

Purchases of diesel fuel decreased by 3% (to 919,097 tons). The rest of Türkiye’s imports consist aviation and marine fuel, gasoline, fuel oil and other refined petroleum products.

Meanwhile, sales of gasoline in the country in November last year decreased by 10.3% compared to the same month last year (up to 253,921 tons), and diesel fuel – by 9.5% (up to 2 million 46 thousand 988 tons).

In general, the total volume of sales of petroleum products decreased by 8% to 2 million 449 thousand 71 tons.
