One killed in shooting at Azerbaijan’s embassy in Iran

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan announced that an armed attack was carried out on the Tehran Embassy of Azerbaijan at around 08:30 in Baku.

Embassy Security Chief Orhan Askerov have lost his life in the attack. Two security guards were injured while trying to block the attack. The condition of the injured was stated to be good.

Camera footage of the incident has also emerged.

The first statement made by Iran stated that the attacker was captured alive and he is in custody at the moment.
