YouTube Premium Debuts in Kazakhstan

Kazakh users now are granted unrestricted access to video and music content free from advertisements.

Kazakhstan witnesses the launch of YouTube Premium, granting users unlimited access to video and music content sans advertisements. The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry proudly unveils Google’s introduction of the YouTube Premium service in Kazakhstan, presenting fresh prospects for users and content creators alike.

This milestone signifies a notable stride in the nation’s digital infrastructure advancement and its assimilation into the global digital landscape.

Bagdat Musin, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during his Silicon Valley visit last March, engaged in discussions with Adam Smith, YouTube’s Vice President of Product Management, regarding the service’s introduction in Kazakhstan.

YouTube Premium furnishes a myriad of benefits including ad-free viewing, the capability to download content for offline consumption, and uninterrupted background listening – concurrently with other applications. Moreover, forthcoming deliberations are anticipated to address initiatives aimed at nurturing the digital economy and bolstering support for local content creators in Kazakhstan.
